What qualifies as the best digital marketing in Canada?
There are tons of Canadian marketing companies and marketers out there. However, I do think that not all marketing companies and marketers are created equal, as each does have their own definitive approach to marketing and getting a specific brand’s presence/message out there to customers. Therefore, with this said, I say that what qualifies one as the best digital marketing in Canada is clear. It is a marketing company and or marketer who is well-rounded in all areas that clients do require the most for themselves and their businesses.
Why is strategic marketing digital marketing that works right?
As was previously stated, and will be again, I do think that the finest of all digital marketing is strategic marketing. It is because strategic marketing is every inch detailed and covers a broad range of aspects that are crucial to branding and marketing as a rule. Strategic marketing is what does build up your brand. It helps to create the adequate blueprint to get at the results you want the most. I personally think strategic marketing helps you to have a working plan in motion. It doesn’t matter if you desire to do email marketing, social media marketing, or both. You need an established plan to design a high-level strategy that will work from a marketing standpoint.
Do you want digital marketing that will do what you require it to do? Find the best marketing company or marketer to make it happen.
Your digital marketing strategy in Canada should be as uniquely Canadian as say getting a “double double” and maple donut at Tim Hortons while wearing hockey skates and listening to The Tragically Hip. Ok, maybe it’s not that different from digital marketing in other countries, but there are a few considerations you’ll want to take into account.
If I were setting up a new digital marketing strategy for a Canadian client I would follow the tips below as guidelines.
- Understand your geographical market. This pertains to all digital campaigns. Does your customer in Alberta typically purchase “widget A” while your customer in Quebec goes for “Widget B and C.” This should help you define target markets for search and display ads and should impact how you schedule social posts and emails.
- Get creative with hashtags. We have a smaller population and have an opportunity to get uniquely Canadian with hashtag use. For example, a “made in Canada” fashion brand may want to use #canadianfashionbrand or #madeincanada to help get through the “social noise” that more general tags like #womensfashion or #whatiwore will display.
- If I were building a decidedly Canadian brand I would go hard on using Canadiana in my email campaigns as well. While “Cyber Monday” may be huge in the US – and Canada too – don’t underestimate the power of “Canadian Cyber Monday.”
As a Canadian marketer, I recommend embracing our unique digital space and taking advantage of targeting, scheduling, hashtagging, and getting hard-core Canadian with content.
Until Next Time,
